How to Use the Date Conversion Tool

This tool allows you to convert dates between various calendar systems including Gregorian, Afghan, Persian, Islamic, Julian, and Hebrew. Follow the instructions below to use the tool effectively.

Step-by-Step Instructions:

  1. Select the Gregorian Date:
    • Enter the year in the "Year" field.
    • Select the month from the "Month" dropdown.
    • Enter the day in the "Day" field.
    • The "Leap Year" and "Weekday" fields will be automatically calculated and displayed.
  2. View the Afghan Date:
    • The Afghan date fields will be automatically populated based on the Gregorian date you entered.
    • Fields include "Year," "Month," "Day," "Leap Year," and "Weekday."
  3. Convert to Other Calendars:
    • The Persian, Islamic, Julian, and Hebrew date fields will also be automatically populated based on the Gregorian date.
    • Each calendar has corresponding fields for "Year," "Month," "Day," "Leap Year," and "Weekday."
  4. Manual Adjustments:
    • If needed, you can manually adjust the year, month, and day fields for the Afghan, Persian, Islamic, Julian, and Hebrew calendars. This will automatically update the corresponding dates in the other calendars.
  5. Viewing Additional Information:
    • Some calendars include additional fields such as "Time" (hidden by default) that you can use to specify hours, minutes, and seconds.
    • To view or adjust these fields, remove the "hidden" class from the relevant div elements in the HTML.

Tips:

  • Ensure that you enter valid dates to avoid errors in conversion.
  • The "Leap Year" field will indicate whether the entered year is a leap year in the selected calendar system.
  • The "Weekday" field will show the day of the week corresponding to the entered date.
